Snapchat advertising

Snap Pixel, Conversions API and catalog feed for your store

Measure what Snapchatters do in your Browsables store, send your sales to Snapchat from our servers — website orders and in-store sales alike — and keep your products available in Snapchat Catalogs, with you deciding which products Snapchat sees.

From a Snapchat ad to a measured sale

  1. 1

    Snapchat ad

Someone taps your ad on Snapchat.

  2. 2

    Store visit

They arrive at your storefront and browse your products.

  3. 3

    Events

The Snap Pixel reports product views, add to cart and checkout.

  4. 4

    Conversion

When the order is delivered, the purchase is sent to Snapchat from our servers.

Browser-side tracking

What is the Snap Pixel?

The Snap Pixel is Snapchat’s measurement code. It runs in the shopper’s browser on your storefront and tells Snapchat what people do after tapping your ads, so Snapchat can measure your campaigns, optimise who sees them and build audiences.

Add your Pixel ID in the Browsables dashboard and it loads on your store — there is nothing to install.

What it measures in your store

  • Page views
  • Product views
  • Add to cart
  • Checkout started

Each event names the products involved, their price and the currency (IQD), matching your Snapchat catalog.

Server-side tracking

Snapchat Conversions API

The Conversions API reports events to Snapchat from a server instead of the shopper’s browser, so it still works when browser tracking is blocked — and it can report what only your records know, like an order that was actually delivered.

Browsables sends the purchase when your team marks an order delivered, with the information Snapchat needs to connect the sale to the ad that led to it.

What Snapchat receives for a sale

  • The products bought and the order value in IQD — for products you have enabled for Snapchat.
  • Customer matching information, protected before it is sent as Snapchat requires.
  • Each sale is reported once, so it is not counted twice.

Offline conversions

In-store sales count on Snapchat too

Many people see your Snapchat ad and then buy at your shop. When you record those sales in Browsables, they go to Snapchat as offline purchases on the same pixel — no extra setup — kept apart from your website sales, so your reports stay clear.

Snapchat matches each sale to its users by the customer’s phone number, protected before it is sent. Not every sale can be matched, and how results are credited is decided by Snapchat.

Product catalog

A product catalog feed for Snapchat

Snapchat Catalogs can import your products from a feed link on a schedule, ready for dynamic product ads. Browsables gives you that link, built from the products you already manage — names, descriptions, prices and sale prices, stock status, photos and a link to each product in your store.

You choose what Snapchat sees

  • Every product has its own Snapchat switch, separate from Meta and TikTok.
  • Switched off, a product is left out of Snapchat pixel events, server events and the catalog feed.
  • Your account remains subject to Snapchat’s own advertising policies.

What you need to connect

  1. A Snapchat Ads account with a Snap Pixel.
  2. Your Pixel ID and a Conversions API token, entered once in your Browsables dashboard.
  3. The Snapchat catalog feed link from your dashboard, added in Snapchat Catalogs.
  4. The Growth plan on your store.

Browsables provides the measurement infrastructure and the controls. Campaign results, ad review and policy enforcement are Snapchat’s, and your ad spend is billed by Snapchat separately from your subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Will connecting Snapchat improve my ad results?

It gives Snapchat complete, accurate signals and an up-to-date catalog to work with. Results still depend on your creative, offer, audience, budget and Snapchat’s own delivery, so no outcome is guaranteed.

Do in-store sales need any extra setup for Snapchat?

No. Snapchat takes in-store sales on the same pixel, marked as offline purchases. Record the sale in your dashboard with the customer’s name and phone, and on the Growth plan it is sent automatically.

Can I test the connection before running ads?

Yes. Turn on test mode in your Snapchat settings: server events are then checked by Snapchat without being counted. Turn it off when you are done.

What if Snapchat restricts some of my products?

Switch Snapchat off for those products. They are then left out of everything sent to Snapchat — pixel events, server events and the catalog feed — while staying on your other platforms if you want. Approval decisions remain Snapchat’s.
